A Rocha Aotearoa New Zealand’s work across the country in restoring biodiversity, growing the next generation of kaitiaki and fostering sustainable communities is driven by wonderful volunteers who give their time and energy so generously. There are plenty of opportunities to be involved.
If you are in New Zealand, you can volunteer:
- At an A Rocha local group project in your region
- At the Karioi Project in Whāingaroa Raglan
- At a community project run by a local Eco Church in your region
- As an Eco Church volunteer in your region.
How do you start volunteering with A Rocha?
Sign up to our mailing list to get emails about volunteer events in your area. RSVP if required or just show up at one of the volunteer events.
Visit the Events page on the ARANZ Facebook page or the Karioi Project Facebook page to see upcoming volunteer events in your area. RSVP if required or just show up at one of the volunteer events.
Contact a local Eco Church in your region to find out what community projects are available that you can volunteer at.

What if I’m from Aotearoa New Zealand but would like to volunteer with A Rocha overseas?
