A Rocha Aotearoa New Zealand had the joy of welcoming Kuki Rokhum, Director of Church Engagement from A Rocha International, for a visit this August.
Reflecting on her time with us, Kuki shared:
“What an enormous privilege to spend time in one of the most beautiful places in the world with A Rocha New Zealand! At the A Rocha National Hui, I got to connect with staff, trustees, and long-term supporters, take part in activities, and share about the A Rocha Worldwide Family.
The visit to the breathtaking Karioi Project in Raglan and meeting some of the team there helped me to understand and appreciate the work being done. I return inspired — by the vibrant Eco Church NZ movement, the growing community of volunteers, and the deep respect for Māori culture and tradition that grounds the work.
A Rocha Aotearoa is alive with hope and possibility!”
We’re deeply grateful for Kuki’s encouragement, warmth, and insight. Her visit was a beautiful reminder of how our local story here in Aotearoa is part of the wider A Rocha family around the world — all connected by a shared love for creation and faith in God’s renewal.
