It was so lovely to gather with 40 people from A Rocha and eco churches last month to connect and learn and discuss and share kai. We learnt about St Heliers Presbyterian Eco Church journey and future plans, St Peter’s Presbyterian vision and challenges for landscaping the large church space, and Richard and Liza Storey spoke on global engagement and experiences from Lebanon (over 20 years ago) to Nepal (in the last few years).
We had a great time connecting with each other, reflecting on creation care as mission, hearing from eco churches, and eating great food! (Check out the cookies that Edina made!)
Thanks to all our speakers and those that came to connect and learn. Thanks also to St Heliers Presbyterian for showing amazing manaakitanga.
